I hate money.

I have spent an hour online this afternoon, looking for more part-time work.
Money and finances have always been a sore spot for me.
Right now, Mike and I are struggling to pay all of our bills on time. I am trying hard to continue to trust that God will provide for everything we need.... but somehow we come up short every month, and our credit card debt is creeping up instead of going down. It is getting to be really hard to keep on trusting God.
I don't mean to sound ungrateful for all that we have... I'm just concerned. There isn't anything else that we can cut out of our monthly budget, yet our expenses continue to increase.

I SOOOO know that feeling. But God knows what you need - keep trusting and asking. Have your tried asking Him to show you if there are any ways you can change your spending habits to be more honoring to HIM? I will be praying for you!

God would never put you in a situation that you cannot handle. He knows what you need.

Thoughts:
How often are you eating out?
Can you change your cable plan or phone plan? Maybe use phone cards for long distance?
Can you check email at the library and cancel your internet?
Can you shop at a thrift store for clothing?
Can you have a garage sale?
Can you take public transportation instead of a car?
Can Mike change his pay check to recieve more out-of-pocket money as opposed to retirement or investments (if you have anything like that)?
Can you babysit?
Do you have any rich relatives :-)?
